In this project, I learned how to alter my body and actual life into a fantasy world that is completely make believe. I learned how to use background images and other pictures to display the world of my fantasy. The fantasy I made was that my body was in a jewelry box spinning, while being born out of a flower. Combining drawing and actual pictures made this picture really come to life, creating an alternate universe.

Pop Art!
Pop art became my favorite activity in Digital Arts. I would always use my free time to create new pop arts because I felt like I was best at it. I learned how to trace my pictures to create a realistic, but creative version of my photos. Being able to alter a self portrait was fun and it made a good use of my time.

Photoshop Landscape
In this project I learned how to change different texture and distort them into different landscapes. It was interesting how different textures were able to change and represent exactly what I was planning to make. It is interesting how a texture like ice cream can make a good tree, or how snake skin can make a good stem to a plant.

I used puppet warp to make this landscape have more background in the image. I made the ground collapse to show a dent as a hill and making the sky seem more 3D.

Landscape...Night(:
In this assignment, I learned how to make landscapes look three dimensional by having a foreground, middle ground and background. I found it interesting how I could use complementary colors to provide a contrast between the water and grass. Also, I learned how to make brushes become the way that I would personally like them in order to make different kinds of scenery.

Space!!
In this project I learned a lot about how to make things really look three dimensional. It was interesting to see what colors looked good together in order to make my planets pop off of the screen. The stars could be created in my different ways, and I enjoyed using "glow," "dodge," and "burn" to add three dimensions to my art. Also, by using the "thirds" rule I was able to create a pop by not directing my artwork right to the center of the page.
Words Around Planets:
"I'm moving fast while the world is standing still."
"Reach for the Stars."
Words Around Planet:
"Megan Perkins."
Color Wheel (:
Analagous Combinations: Colors right next to each other.
Complemetary Colors: Colors that are opposite of each other.
